1st Timothy Chapter 2-3

Men are called to lead in prayer not because they're more spiritual, but to take responsibility for spiritual direction. Women have always served in ministry roles throughout Scripture, with passages about silence often referring specifically to marriage relationships rather than all ministry contexts. In marriage, husbands are called to love sacrificially like Christ, while wives respond with willing submission. Church leadership requires character over perfection, focusing on serving others rather than seeking power. Our worth comes from Christ's finished work, not our performance, enabling us to step into the roles God has prepared for us.
