Pentecost: When The Kingdom Arrived

Pentecost marks the birthday of the church when the Holy Spirit transformed believers into a unified force for God's kingdom. A true church of Pentecost displays four key characteristics: unity that brings special anointing, being Spirit-filled and willing to be used by God, maintaining amazement at God's grace rather than seeking entertainment, and staying Jesus-centered above all else. When these elements are present, people are convicted and drawn to Christ, resulting in daily growth as the Lord adds to the church. The challenge is whether we'll be among the committed 120 in the upper room or the 380 who had other priorities.
