Understanding God's will isn't meant to be a mystery but something we can be filled with knowledge about, as Colossians 1:9 teaches. To discern God's direction, we must learn from His Word through consistent Bible study, train ourselves to hear His voice through various means including Scripture and prayer, and grow in our ability to be led by surrounding ourselves with godly counsel. God speaks through His written Word, impressions, circumstances, and other believers. By establishing daily Bible reading habits, creating space to listen, and evaluating our influences, we can gain clarity about God's direction for our lives.
